Don’t hesitate to ask questions and seek guidance. There is a wealth of knowledge within the company.

The work – every day brings new challenges and experiences. You are trusted to deliver, and it drives you to want to do more.
Q. What advice would you give to someone just starting their career in a role similar to yours?
Every moment is an opportunity to learn something.
Don’t leave a meeting or conversation not understanding something, even if you must investigate afterwards.
Follow a code of ethics – Good examples are available through the Project Management Institute or online.
Never take credit for your team’s work. The credit always belongs with the team not you as an individual.
If your team is working, you should be working – always be available for people working with you or on your behalf.
Q. Can you share a standout memory or achievement from your time with IMS MAXIMS?
The first deployment of IMS MAXIMS software for our first major customer. Prior to this, the company was very focused on Research and Development with European Projects like EDITH.

Yes, that’s more than one thing, I know!
Q. What are some of the lessons you’ve learned throughout your career that you’d like to share with others?
Be patient, nobody is perfect. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes, we are all human, learn from them though. Help others when asked, offer to help even if not asked.
