St. Vincent’s University Hospital Emergency Department launches MAXIMS Order Communications to improve communication and efficiency in patient care

MAXIMS Order Communications was successfully rolled out in the Emergency Department at St. Vincent’s University Hospital this month. The solution replaces a paper-based ordering process, providing a fast-track method to manage pathology orders safely and efficiently, designed to enhance communication and streamline efficiency in patient care within the Emergency Department.

At the launch, staff members expressed their enthusiasm for the transformative impact that MAXIMS Order Comms will have on both their work and patient care. SVUH remains dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care through continuous innovation, and the implementation of MAXIMS Order Comms is a testament to this commitment.

“I am absolutely delighted to see order communications being released as part of the hospital’s strategic plan to become more paper-light and environmentally friendly. Responding to the growing needs and expectations of patients is an integral part of our overall strategy. This is a real example of collaboration across a number of departments, and I would like to sincerely thank all staff involved” said Michele Tait, SVUH Interim Chief Executive Officer.

It's a pleasure to work alongside the exceptional teams at St. Vincent’s University Hospital and to support them in achieving their digital goals and aspirations.”
