Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Emergency Department upgrades to latest version of MAXIMS Patient Administration System (PAS)

We are delighted to announce that on the 19th June 2024, Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust successfully went live with MAXIMS Patient Administration System (PAS) V17.4 in their Emergency Department, marking a significant milestone in the overall PAS project at the hospital.
The implementation of the latest PAS version involved extensive staff training to ensure a smooth transition and minimal disruption to patient care in a busy department. The newly implemented PAS version brings a host of improvements designed to enhance patient management, streamline operations, and help clinicians access and share data effectively within the Emergency Department.
A huge congratulations and thanks to the team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals for their dedication and support throughout the upgrade process. Next step is to migrate all of Inpatients and Outpatients onto MAXIMS PAS Trust wide which will build on the enhanced patient management and efficiencies that are already benefiting the Emergency Department.
